Blue Beacon LLC wants everyone to be able to use this website, whatever the way they read, see, hear or move.
The standard we follow
This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Every page is checked automatically for accessibility before each release, works from 360 pixels wide without scrolling sideways, can be used with a keyboard alone and names its controls for screen readers.
What helps
Display and reading, from the button at the bottom left of every page: larger text, wider spacing, taller lines, a readable font, highlighted headings, text aligned left, underlined links, light or dark theme, saturation, higher contrast, pause motion, a reading guide and a big cursor, with profiles that set several at once. Your choices are remembered in your browser.
Read aloud uses a voice of your own device: the words on the page are not sent anywhere.
Motion never carries meaning. If your device asks for reduced motion, or you choose Pause motion, every animation stops and the slideshow and carousels stand still. While they move, they stop while the keyboard focus is inside them and for a few seconds after you touch them, and the carousels also stop when you point at them; Pause motion, in the menu at the bottom left of every page, stops them all.
Every page has a link to skip to the content, one main heading and a visible focus, and the contact form has visible labels and error messages that say what to fix.
Known limitations
The office map is provided by Google Maps and only loads if you choose to open it; its accessibility depends on Google.
